The Party's Crashing Me

Today it dawned on me that for the last two weeks I was in Madrid. With that being said, I still can't remember much of that place at all aside from when I'm looking back at the pictures. What I may not have shown in my pics is what I really noticed when I was there.. The museums, the elderly, the dogs, the tourists, the sangria, and the influx of homosexual men (i'm not homophobic, i'm just not gay)... After my time in Madrid was up, I headed to Barcelona for a 4 day vacay, today being the 3rd... In the past two nights a lone, I've had more fun and accumulated more exciting memories and photos than my whole two week stay in Madrid.. We finally stayed out later than 6 am like true Spaniards.. We came pretty close nights before, but girls can only stay in good moods for so long before they turn bitter and want to rain on your parade/fiesta..

Barcelona has made it onto my top 5 favorite cities list (Minneapolis, Los Angeles, London, Port Harcourt, Barcelona).. soo hand claps and high fives for Barcelona.. if you haven't gone or are skeptical as to where to travel to for Spring Break or any vacation you may take in the future.. look no further.. given you are a cool enough American to actually own a passport and have enough money & free time to travel.. barcelona is a no-brainer...

some b-sides from madrid i wanted to share

the hardest part of rollerblading is telling your parents you're gay (if you're a fan of the show human giant you'll get the joke) and for those who don't.. by now you should already know that roller blading hasn't been cool since the disney channel t.v. movie Brink, or when going to the Roller Rink with your friends was the shit, or when K2 used to bring roller blades to elementary schools for gym class.. under no other circumstance should you be affiliated with roller blading.. the end

Hitting the square; this was the first thing I saw.. A real diverse group of ppl.. From yuppies to elderly folk - literally dancing in circles to some harmonic music played by a live orchestra while the policia stood watching, and waiting... I was certain something was gonna jump off cuz I could feel the tension, but nothing went down.. Just a whole lot of dancing and confusion brewing..
