Threats and Danger

Whoa.. I'm watching the Republican National Convention on TV, and it's crazy to think that it's going on in MN. The whole convention has basically made St. Paul a police state, governed by the riot squads and their domineering. People being taken from their homes, protesters are getting mased and teargased, Secret Service zips up and down highways and city streets.. Really? Was all that going in Denver? Its crazy to me that people actually support the Republicans and their agenda. Have we forgotten the last 8 years? This country really is fucked if McCain/Palin make it into the White House.. I'm bummed I missed out on the great shows going on this week though.. Dead Prez, Rage, Matisyahu. Bar close @ 4 am downtown MPLS. MY PARTY tomorrow.. Damn, if the scene was always this good I wouldn't mind having the Republicans throwing conventions in St. Paul monthly.. JK!
