Empty Desk Blues

It's been a hell of a rough week for me, and basically just black guys in general for that matter. OJ simpson was found guilty of all charges - lost, Kimbo Slice got knocked out by some nobody fighter in the first 14 seconds of his match - lost, a friend broke my bike - lost, and my laptop was stolen - HUGE LOSS.. Those who know me well, know that my two most prized possessions were my bike and my computer. I can be at peace with my bike, whatever. But my laptop was pretty much the extension of my brain/knowledge bank.. Literally my 2nd home. I don't understand how I could have it with me in hostels all the way from London to eastern europe and not even have one close call. But when I am away at work, my laptop gets stolen in rural Wisconsin of all places? Seriously what the fuck.. Talk about a tough break. Some say its silly to put so much love and adoration into an inatimate object, but when 50% of your life and hobbies correlate with the internet and computer its hard not to. I've worked hard for everything that I have, and a lot of that hardwork was stored on that hard-drive. So for someone to just take it away from me like that... that just kills me. well at least, they didn't take my cameras..
