I escaped the bitterness and cold of Minneapolis for an extended weekend getaway out in California to visit some of my best friends and fam from back in the day who are out there in LA/Burbank doing their whole makeup/finding themselves thing. I wish I had some more time, because I didn't even get a chance to get up with my blood relatives haha. I'm a jerk. Felt good to get out West since I haven't been there in the past two years. The fakeidentification I had was so wack, therefore I couldn't get in anywhere, let alone order Saki from the sushi joints I hit up without begging them. But that's alright, I needed a break anyways. Felt good to just float on by, and let things come together. I definitely seen a lot more than these pictures will give credit for. I was going to bring my digital cam with me but I forgot that, and I just found out that the photos I took from my 110film mini-cam can no longer be developed anywhere? major bummer, but oh well.. Another trip coming up in January? Gotta figure out where to tho.. This is my favorite song about California out of the hundreds I've listened to in my lifetime. Its super chill, just like my trip

these pics are way out of order. fuck walgreens spot me laura where i got my first & only tattoo 4 years ago, when i was 16 and drunk as shit.. wtf i didn't even get a chance to eat there once.. guess it just wasn't the same without the homies who could appreciate eating tacos and burgers @ the same time.. what up dc & ma & ah the recession is tough on everyone i remembered eating here two years ago and how they hooked me up back in my weed days with only the 5.50 i had in my pocket.. two years later, still hooking it up for the 5.50 despite the recession. chyea these cuptakes tasted soo good, just didn't taste safe.. like you know as soon as you eat it that you'll be paying for it later.. went out to west holly to visit my surrogate big sister.. awesome decor huh banksy who just breaks trees? willie s.'s studio.. ill shit
When I take photos I try and evoke "the brad" LOL But thats cool as fuck you got to escape the harsh and dreary winter for sunny cali for nyi a.
Oh and that shot with old girl in the restaurant looks like one of those ads that doesn't advertise anything, and you just have to "get". and to be finding themselves thier crib is kinda plushed out.
