I learned two things over this past weekend. Well maybe more than just two, but for now:

1. You're never too old to party or decide to have a good time doing stuff normally enjoyed by a younger crowd/generation

2. You're never too old to make a complete fool of yourself in the process despite being supposedly much wiser

(Thankfully there's a thin line between both that's not difficult to discern)

Diamonds in The Ruff

While I was in Europe, I was always wondering what my friends back home were getting in to. My closest friends don't really utilize Web 2.0 and social networking the way I'd like them to do, so much of what they were getting into was left up to word of mouth and of course the imagination. I was happy to come home to some surprises and to some new spots that they discovered. This is one of them.

After we kicked it at the spot for a while we headed to N Mpls to kick it at my homie's studio all night while they worked on projects. The next night we headed to the monthly party Bomp, and the after party that followed. On a whim, Brian and I decided to take a trip to Chicago via Megabus. What was supposed to be a two day trip almost became a week, because we were having so much fun. I'll post some more photos of that in the next few days.

Like 10-12 hours later we made it to Chicago via the Megabus (Ghettobus).. Non-stop party

The first homie's crib we stayed at was located in this area referred to as Wrigleyville off of Belmont & something I can't remember. He had an ill spot, or should I say USED to. The bummer was that our homie didn't have ELECTRICITY.. So once the sun settled, the only things you could really do at his spot were lounge around, go to sleep, or fuck with pedestrians and cars outside of his window.. So what do you think we did?

I'll post the next set of photos from Chicago in a few days so check back! Continue Reading »
