my last set of photos from minnesota. both of these were shot on expired 400 film so the colors came out a little different

alex and i walked around downtown minneapolis until really early. it got far too cold so we had to stop at the landmark sexworld to stay warm. met a few randos, took a few photos, told a few lies, most important of all though: we stayed warm.

My friends from back home came out to visit me in New York. Was a really fun time

West Indies Parade


The night after the West Indies Parade we decided to take a ride around the two boroughs via bike since it was our friends last night in NYC before they had to bus it out to Boston and eventually back to Minneapolis. Only problem was that we didn't have a fourth bike. So they scoured the streets until they found a raggedy Mountain bike that was barely functional haha.. Made the trip hella funny, because my bike doesn't even have brakes and we were all somewhat tipsy from the bodega beers..

Union Square

We were posted in the park by Union Square and this drunk dude approached us in the usual excessively drunk-guy demeanor. This one stood out the most out of many, many encounters, because he kept saying how he didn't have any friends and that being an alcoholic sucks. He got in my face so I was like, "Well, we're your friends man," and he's like "NO, I have NO friends," and then he walked away to go bother some other people lol
