~13 days until I vacate the country!.. Got a few good pick ups over the past few days...



(fresh nike dunks, U.O. t-shirt, 2nd bin lacoste cardigan, three vintage novelty watches, a yo-yo from my brother, a gumby toy that some how ended up in my pocket over the weekend, my forgotten hat that was @ Alex's, The Devil and Daniel Johnton documentary-great film!, ooh and some magazines I got for free @ Fifth Element.. pretty good overall come up, wouldn't you say?

free day...

It's been a lil' while since I've posted last.. Haven't really been too keen on taking pics as of late, however I did have a day off from work today, and what better way to spend it than shopping in the Twin Cities wit my close homies..

First stop was 6TwelvePremium.. Nice lil' spot off of Selby n I forget, Definitely one of the doper spots I've been to in the Twin Cities. I didn't cop anything my first run through, but I checked out the overall inventory and a lot of things were looking nice.. They carry "The Hundreds", "Stussy", "Crooks & Castles", "ALIFE", "10DEEP", and many other brands a lot of people aren't up on in MN, nor do many places in carry em.. f*ck yo zumiez ni99a

next stop was Friedman's in the North side of Minneapolis on Broadway.. Hands-down the best sneaker spot in Minnesota.. only issue I had with friedmans is that they didn't have anymore reebok pumps! f" you sam brewer for coppin the last pair of pump hi's.. i could of gave them a lil better life than being trampled on by oregon hipsters ! ;)

Our next stop was Status located in Calhoun Square via Uptown, Mpls.. Cool lil' spot, unfortunately this time around I didn't think to take any pictures, but don't trip they didn't really have much to offer and their inventory was looking very famished.. They did have a pair of glow in the dark Reebok Pumps and the Optimus Prime (VOLTRON) Reebok Pumps tho


Last clothing stop was @ Urban Outfitters, where I picked up a few t-shirts on sale and the NYLON LookBook (bigup2M.A.onthesnatch), if you're into street fashion and you don't have one, head to ur local bookstore and get a copy asap otherwise order it online.. Definitely a must have, or else you can compile your own book by snatchin flics from the many street fashion blogs out there..

We ate @ The Lotus Vietnamese Restaurant on Hennepin Ave... Heads up to those who haven't ate there.. Only go there during lunch so you can catch a special otherwise the prices go up drastically, but the food quality doesn't.. Also, if you choose to eat dinner, but still want to go the cheap route, DO NOT ORDER the combination plate.. Both of my friends said the chicken wings were terrible ("basked in donut batter"), and they gave you a minimal amount of fried rice :( Continue Reading »

sooo...

it's been pretty slow lately, well ever since new years eve.. took me a few days to recover and since than i've just been working and hanging out at home with my mom, lame i know but haven't had much motivation to do much else.. i would post some pictures from the crazy night, but i forgot my camera at a friend's flat so I'll just have to wait til some candid photos of the night pops up and post em on here.. Well, I went to rosedale mall yesterday, and i must say, TERRIBLE.. all the stores are the same as they were when i was there last two months ago.. They did get a Chipotle, so that was kinda bomb plus I had a gift card for there that I almost forgot about.. well in other news, white Nike Dunk Hi's came back on the market so I just ordered a pair via www.sn*******ad.com .. i've literally been searchin for these shoes for two months, what a relief

now only if i could find these in my size!!

Pump, Pump, PUMP, PUMP IT UP

Shoes, sneakers, kicks, whatever.. I love em..
I used to be all NIKE, then i went through my lil' JORDAN phase (thx to hand-me-downs) til I realized I really couldn't afford it, then ADIDAS, until I stumbled onto my beloved VANS (way before the pack song) which I still rock frequently, but my new love is now (drum, roll please!).... REEBOK! the pumps are crazy ill.. i remember I used to hate reebok, but thats only because people wore classics, and hi-top classics until they were busted beyond belief.. Till this day I still cringe at the site.. Take a second and check out these dope kicks and maybe you'll fall in love with REEBOK too, but DONT!! cuz i re-rediscovered it first!
