Last Thursday I went to the Avoid The Grey Fashion Show @ La Bodega Tapa's Bar in Uptown with some friends. This was the third fashion show I've been too and I really do enjoy them. Unfortunately, the venue for this particular fashion show wasn't ideal. The place was really small and super crowded, the lighting was bad, and there wasn't any defined "catwalk", people were literally walkin across it to get to the other side of the room.. That really took away from the overall feel, but the biggest issue I had was not being able to see much or take good pictures . The fashion shows I've been to in the past have been @ bigger venues and had the catwalk on an elevated level in order to keep the main focus on whats being modeled.. I managed to capture a few "okay" photos. Overall, the designs were pretty good and some of the models were really fly, as were a lot of the women in the crowd :)
i think it'd be really ill to have my own warehouse so I could rent out or host fashion shows and dance parties, etc.. definitely on my to-do-list by age 27 haha
afterwards, got some decent pizza @ Slice of New York in uptown, i forget which street tho
