JustBrad: blast from the past

I came home from work today tired and overworked... All I wanted to do for once is watch some television.. but my brother was already on it. : ( me and my bro never can agree on what to watch when we're in the same room, and tonight was no different.. well, until we came across Saved By the Bell on "the N". Me and my bro don't really see eye to eye on many things, but we both can appreciate the shows that we grew up watching.. We literally used to bond over watching corny early-to-mid 90's television shows such as Alex Mack, Clarissa Explains it all, Hey Dude, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Space Cases, Flash Forward, X-Men, Hercules, Batman, NYPD Blue, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Doug, Fresh Prince, Soul Train, and All That! Although, as little as it may be, those shows pretty much made us who we are today in one aspect or another. For me it really made me fall in love with popular culture, entertainment, and consumerism. The show with probably the biggest influence on my brother and I (at the time) had to be Saved By the Bell.. I mean we literally watched that show (a long with Soul Train) every saturday morning before my dad took us to get haircuts. Not to mention before school, after school, before dinner, as well as after dinner.. We used to literally tape episodes on vhs tapes to watch again.. If you didn't grow up watching saved by the bell or any of the aforementioned shows, please write me and tell me what the hell you did as a kid, and what you do now because I didn't know one person who didn't grow up watching at least three of these shows..
