aww nothingness..

I ventured out of the crowded and lively streets of London to a town a 3hrs. distance north called Stratford-Upon-Avon, near Birmingham.. Apparently this town gave birth to Shakespeare, many, many years ago.. I personally didn't quite fall into the nostalgia of the whole thing, but apparently others have.. A good number of students and families travel here to take a glimpse of where one of the best writers the world has ever seen was born and raised.. The whole town is kind of centered around Shakespeare, and so many restaurants and stores share that central theme, and in many cases beat it to death.. Shakespeare Square, Shakespeare chips.. Yeah; not for me.. Aside from the tourists, the people here are predominately white, though I've seen some Italian & Armenian immigrants.. And for the limited amount of black people I've seen, appears that most of them emigrated here from the Carribbean.. The youth here are really into skating, and bmx too which is pretty cool.. I've also been seeing a lot of sticker art here.. Oh, and yesterday a group of 17 year olds came up to me outside a grocery store, and begged me to buy them some booze.. I couldn't help but oblige, because not even three weeks ago I was in the same predicament.. The punks didn't even think to tip me tho!
Finding affordable internet has been such a drag out here to no surprise.. Well that was up until today, because I found out that the McDonalds has free wi-fi.. Though I some times despise McDonald's and how they intrude on other cultures and societies, I can't help but love them the way I once did as a child, now that I've found FREE WI-FI! I've literally been sitting in the same spot since breakfast without purchasing a single thing and I've yet to be accosted.. Though I probably will get a (free-range) chicken sandwich eventually it really has been a treat getting my internet fix for the past three days in one.. Geez I'm a nerd..
