pretty good weekend i'd say

What it do folks..? Last time we spoke I was in the desolate town of Stratford-Upon-Avon.. I would love to think back and say that I enjoyed myself while there, but I really didn't learn all that much from the town, except for what Shakespeare's house looked like and what life for Englanders is like outside of London.. Though, after leaving Stratford and with a free weekend to kill, I decided to tag a long with some friends to Dublin, Ireland.. It has never really been on my life-long itinerary to ever travel there since I never was too keen on Irish culture besides watching the Boondock Saints.. But I definitely enjoyed my stay.. Even if getting here meant I had to run into some pitfalls which led me to lose 198 pounds! And I'm not talking about weight neither (think a long the lines of $400 US Dollars; yeah! ouch)...!
But whatever, money doesn't exist right? Well, according to George Jung's dad in the movie Blow, it doesn't... So whenever I find myself in a situation whereas I'm letting money dictate my attitude/mood I try to think back to that saying, because in all honestly money is a beautiful thing when you don't have to think about it. And losing stuff over a self-inflicted error sucks, but what can you do besides smile and adjust your plans? Frowning and loathing won't bring my dinero back now will it?

But, yeaaah. About Dublin, twas definitely a good time.. I am not too big on Guinness or beer in general so I didn't check out the usual touristy stops i.e. the Guinness factory, but instead I hit the town like I always do and let the city show me the way.. During my solo adventure I ran into some pretty cool characters.. This bloke who begged me to hit a joint with him, which I kindly obliged since I felt peer pressure like none other since he flagged me down hardcore and was apparently really honored to share his J with me.. With my now hazier outlook for the afternoon, I set off again and went all around taking random pictures, hit up some clothing stores, and laughed a lot for no reason.. And a long the way got some really awkward stares from ppl, because I was so visibly happy.. I posted up by this old deserted building that had these really cool stone carvings of people at the top.. I was taking pics, and this old drunk Irish man came up to me on his way out of a pub and basically started giving me a history lesson on the building, the city of Dublin, and why England sucks haha.. Irish people as well as Scots people are definitely way kinder than the other United Kingdom inhabitants, thats for sure.. I'll have to definitely come back out here sometime in the near future.. Ooh and the Temple Bar.. Straight Bananas!..The area was really dope, I got really drunk, went to some pretty cool spots, met some funny people, and cute girls.. Met a fellow Nigerian, went to a reggae nightclub.. so
there are black people in Ireland after all, whodathunkit! Overall, had a good time.. if you feel sad about me losting 400 dollars, please send me your contact info and i'll let you know how you can help donate :)
